About

Getting to know Rebekah

Hi, I’m Rebekah. I’m a Licensed Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work from Rutgers University, where I focused my graduate studies on trauma and interpersonal violence. My work is grounded in a deep curiosity about the human experience and a belief that the strategies we develop to survive difficult experiences don’t always have to be the strategies we carry forward.

I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating trauma, complex trauma, anxiety, grief and loss, emotional dysregulation, relationship and attachment concerns, life transitions, boundaries, and self-worth. I strive to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported while developing practical tools to help you feel more grounded and empowered.

My approach draws from DBT, CBT, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), complex grief therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, somatic and nervous-system regulation, solution-focused therapy, and attachment-focused interventions. I tailor therapy to each person, incorporating practical coping skills, emotional regulation, trauma processing, cognitive restructuring, relational exploration, and boundary work based on your needs.

For me, trauma-informed therapy is about more than revisiting what happened. It is about understanding how your experiences may still influence your emotions, relationships, body, sense of safety, and view of yourself—and creating space to build something different.

Whether you’re working through trauma or grief, struggling with anxiety or emotional regulation, navigating relationships, or simply feeling stuck, you don’t have to figure it out alone. I’m here to help you make sense of what you’re carrying, reconnect with your strengths, and move toward a life that feels more authentic and manageable.
